Lemongrass is native to tropical regions of South East Asia as it thrives growing in warm climates. It is an aromatic grass that belongs to the Poaceae family; a large family of flowering plants.

Lemongrass is used for its essential oils due to its fresh, light, and bright-citrus-like scent.
