I am the youngest of five and live with my two cats and partner in the beautiful town of Redruth, Cornwall. Most of my family are involved in the sewing industry and it is a skill that has been passed down through several generations. Whilst my mother taught me the art of repair, I now also enjoy making my own clothes too. I love the challenge of repairing items to a high standard and producing quality tailoring to create the perfect fit. I enjoy reading, drawing in the sunshine (usually with the help of a cat) and exploring the British countryside.
I am the mum of two beautiful dogs; a Burnese mountain dog called Dio (after the late great Ronnie James Dio) and a loopy rescue Wiemeraner called Tilly. I should probably also mention my four grown up boys! My passion for sewing began more than 30 years ago and I now specialise in bridal wear and all its many conundrums. I enjoy altering hems, putting in zips and anything that really challenges me. I feel very lucky to have a career that embodies my greatest enjoyment in life and take pleasure in helping you get more out of the clothes you love.
